Legends Fall in Game 2 of Rawlings Cup
Bercovich Gold rode a first inning grand slam by Kenny Chavez to defeat the Menlo Park Legends 5 to 3 in game 2 of the Rawlings Cup Tournament.Legends Starter Eric Davila had a rough first inning but settled down to finish the next five innings with only a single run. Corey Zirbes pitched
two solid scoreless innings in relief.
Brian Scott started for the Gold and allowed ten base runners (7 hits and 3 walks) but limited the Legends to two runs.Pierson Jeremiah, Tyger Pederson and CJ Jacobe swatted doubles for the Legends, but they could only tally single runs in the second, fifth and
eighth.
