Menlo Park Legends Announce Nick Sanzeri as Head Coach for Summer 2025 Season

The Menlo Park Legends are excited to announce the appointment of Nick Sanzeri as the 4th head coach of the collegiate summer team, starting with the 2025 season. With over 13 years of coaching experience across the collegiate and professional levels, Nick is poised to bring a new level of excellence to the Legends program.
Sanzeri, known for his expertise in pitcher development, has coached and trained over 75 NCAA Division I pitchers and 17 MLB draft picks. His work with more than 20 MLB and MiLB players, including notable names like Tyson Ross and D.J. Snelten, has earned him a stellar reputation in the baseball world. Having founded his own training company, Sanzeri Baseball, in 2012, Nick’s innovative and data-driven approach has made him a leader in player development.

“Nick is the perfect fit for this role, and we couldn’t be more excited to have him on board,” said David Klein, Founder and Executive Director of the Menlo Park Legends. “When we envisioned our next collegiate head coach, we could only hope for someone as ideal as Nick. He’s young, hungry, organized, and incredibly experienced. His deep ties to the Bay Area give him a vast network of contacts, making him well-equipped to recruit a competitive roster for 2025. We know he’s the right guy to take the program to the next level, and we’re thrilled to welcome him with open arms.”

Nick’s coaching career began at just 21, when he became the head varsity coach at San Mateo High School, making him one of the youngest head coaches in the country. From there, he went on to coach for Lamorinda Baseball Club and the College of San Mateo, where he helped the team earn a super-regional berth in the CCCAA playoffs. Most recently, he served as the pitching coach at Division I University of the Pacific, guiding the Tigers to their best conference finish in over five years.
From 2018 to 2023, Sanzeri was the pitching coach at Mission College, where his methods in data-driven coaching led to two conference championships and several postseason berths. His ability to blend traditional coaching techniques with cutting-edge data analytics has helped many of his pitchers reach their full potential.
Nick holds a bachelor’s degree from Notre Dame de Namur University and is certified in both TPI and Rapsodo, further demonstrating his commitment to player development and performance.

Sanzeri has already begun the recruiting process for the 2025 summer season. Players interested in joining the Menlo Park Legends under his leadership can contact him directly at nick.s@menloparklegends.com or via phone at +1 (650) 201-0043.

With Sanzeri at the helm, the Menlo Park Legends look forward to an exciting 2025 season and beyond.
